Tiger Woods posted a second round of 4-under-par 68 and has a three-stroke lead at the midway point of the JBWere Masters in Melbourne, Australia
Woods got off to a hot start with consecutive birdies, then he cooled off after that and a long birdie-putt at the 6th hole, plus a nice par-save at the 9th hole had him 3-under-par at the turn. On the back nine, Woods had plenty birdie opportunities, but he could only convert at the par-5 12th hole. Woods enjoyed a two-stroke advantage when he finished his round, however the lead soon grew to three-strokes after James Nitties and Greg Chalmers both bogeyed the par-4 17th hole.
