Jason Day has carded consecutive 65s in the first two rounds of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
In the field on a sponsor exemption, Day is making the most of it, with 12 birdies through 36 holes. He's hit 27 GIR and taken just 52 putts, finishing four strokes off the early clubhouse lead. Although he's shown flashes of brilliance this year, he's a non-winner with Conditional status, so his starts will be limited. Of course, a win would change that.
