Jeff Klauk withdrew on Thursday from the Viking Classic.
The weather forecast for the Viking Classic is poor through Friday night and doesn't improve for good until Sunday, so it won't be surprising to see some players that have secured their Tour card for the 2010 season pull out. Klauk currently is in 68th place on the PGA Tour's Money List.

Jeff Klauk blitzed TPC Summerlin for a bogey-free, 6-under-par 33-32=65 in his opening round of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
Klauk had to withdraw after his opening-round 79 at Turning Stone with a foot injury, so this is a pleasant surprise. Today's 65 was about as low as he was going to go, as he hit 14 GIR and took 27 putts. Not all rust is unwanted.

Jeff Klauk is listed in the published field of next week's Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
The rookie will enter the week 82nd in earnings, so the next goal is to crack the top-70 and qualify for the Palmer Invite and Memorial. He withdrew from the Turning Stone after 18 holes with a foot injury and hasn't broken 74 in his last five rounds.

Jeff Klauk withdrew following his opening round of the Turning Stone Resort Championship, citing a foot injury.
He carded a 7-over-par 40-39=79 during which he hit just 11 GIR and still needed a whopping 36 putts. With Marc Leishman having separated himself during the playoffs, Klauk would probably need to win in the Fall Series to steal the Rookie of the Year award from the Aussie.

Jeff Klauk spun a 6-under-par 29-35=64 in the opening round of the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
Three of Klauk's seven birdies came on three of the five par 3s at Brown Deer Park. It's one of the reasons he needed just 23 putts today. Another was due to the fact that he found just 11 GIR. He'll need to give himself more chances to remain in contention for his first PGA Tour victory. In the meantime, he'll settle for a share of the overnight lead.

Jeff Klauk has withdrawn from the St. Jude Classic.
Klauk has played almost every week on the Tour in the last two months and has moved up to 44th place on the Tour's FedExCup Points List.
