John Rollins carded a bogey-free, 7-under-par 33-33=66 in the second round of the SBS Championship.

John Rollins posted a final round of even-par 72 to win the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open by three-strokes over Martin Laird and Jeff Quinney.
Rollins started the day with a four-stroke lead and at the turn he was even-par for the round, but he retained his four-stroke lead because his main rivals were falling back into the field. On the back nine, Rollins dropped a 38-foot eagle-putt at the par-5 11th to increase his lead to six-strokes, but he then went into a tailspin and carded three bogeys in his next four holes. The lead shrank to two-strokes, but he was able to birdie the par-5 17th to stop the bleeding and to give him his final three-stroke margin of victory. The victory is his third career PGA Tour championship and his first since the 2006 B.C. Open.

John Rollins posted a third round of 5-under-par 67 and leads by four-strokes over Ryan Palmer at the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open.
Rollins the opened round with a couple of birdies, but back-to-back bogeys starting at the 7th hole dropped him to even-par and by the turn he was tied with Ryan Palmer for the lead. He started the back nine with a birdie-eagle combination to go up by three-strokes over Palmer and a seven-foot birdie at the final hole expanded his overnight lead to four-strokes. On Sunday, Rollins will be looking for his first victory this season and his third career championship on the PGA Tour.

It's also Rollins' personal low on the PGA Tour. Linked with his opening 70, Rollins finished with a four-stroke lead after 36 holes. His most recent of two PGA Tour victories occurred at the 2006 B.C. Open at Turning Stone.
