John Senden withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open this morning.
He was set to make his fifth straight appearance at the event and seventh career. We will update you if we learn what forced him out.

John Senden carded a bogey-free, 5-under-par 32-35=67 in the opening round of the Turning Stone Resort Championship.
The Aussie missed just one GIR - surprise, surprise - and took just 30 putts en route to five birdies at Atunyote today. With three consecutive top-20s entering the week, punctuated by a T-10 at East Lake on Sunday, few in the field are as in sync as he is at the moment. Considering he's already in the first three majors of 2010, Senden's remaining goal for '09 is a victory, which would get him into the '10 PGA sooner than later.

John Senden enters the FedExCup Finals as the 30th ranked player in the field.
Senden entered the FedExCup Playoffs with solid record of five Top 10s, but this year he will be remembered as the player that lucked out when Brandt Snedeker four-putted from 16-feet at the last hole to play himself out of the finals. This will be first time that Senden has played in THE TOUR Championship.

John Senden posted a third round of 6-over-par 76 and missed the second cut at the Wyndham Championship.
The second cut rule was used on Sunday to pair down the field for the final round. Senden was one of the pre-tournament favorites going into this week's play. Others that also missed the second cut were: Kris Blanks, Jimmy Walker, Cliff Kresge, Charlie Hoffman, Brett Quigley, Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey, Danny Lee, 16-year-old amatuer Justin Thomas, J.J. Henry, Troy Matteson, Harrison Fraser, John Daly, Jay Williamson, Matthew Borchert, Steve Lowery and Davis Love III. All the players, except for Justin Thomas, will receive official money that will go towards their year-end total.

John Senden carded a final round of 2-under-par 70 and finished in a tie for second place at the Buick Open.
Senden was one-over-par on his round going into the 12th hole, but then he ran off three consecutive birdies to pull into a tie for second place. He did have some opportunities on the remaining holes to pull into sole second place, but he couldn't convert the opportunities. Still, it was a good tournament for Senden as he earned his fifth Top 10 of season and his best finish on the Tour since his T-2 at last year's Pods Championship.

John Senden followed his opening 64 with a bogey-free, 6-under-par 33-33=66 to take a two-stroke lead at the Buick Open.
Senden is putting on a clinic in what may be the final Buick Open. He's hit 30 GIR and taken a ridiculously low 56 putts at Warwick Hills. Since his opening bogey on Thursday, he's ripped off a field-high 15 birdies, including six today. He'll sleep on the halfway lead and then start the weekend with the intent to finally validate his lone PGA Tour title (2006 John Deere).
