Aaron Baddeley was one of 11 golfers that has been automatically eliminated from the FedExCup Playoffs after missing the cut at The Barclays.
Baddeley shot 8-over-par 72-78=150, missing the cut by three strokes. He entered the week ranked 103rd in FedExCup points, meaning that his playoffs are over, and will need to bank about $100K in the Fall Series to secure his 2010 PGA Tour card. Joining him, Chris Stroud (WD) and Steve Flesch (DQ) on the sidelines for the remainder of the playoffs are Mark Calcavecchia (148), Jeff Maggert (150), Robert Garrigus (150), James Driscoll (150), Michael Allen (152), Tim Herron (152), David Mathis (154), Jeff Quinney (156), Chris DiMarco (157) and Roland Thatcher (158). Twelve more golfers will be bumped from the playoffs once The Barclays is complete.

Aaron Baddeley posted a 3-over-par 36-39=75 in his opening round of the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open.
Baddeley hit 10 (of 14) fairways but only nine GIR. He also took a messy 29 putts. This was his first start since pulling out of the Canadian Open after 33 holes. He was 10-over at that point.

Aaron Baddeley is listed in the published field of next week's Reno-Tahoe Open.
Baddeley crashed and burned at the Canadian Open, opting for a WD instead of completing three holes on Saturday morning. He was 10-over-par through 33 at Glen Abbey. Since returning to swing coach Dale Lynch four months ago, Badds has posted five top-25s but has yet to regain consistency. He hasn't played in Reno since a T-4 in 2005.

Aaron Baddeley withdrew during his second round of the RBC Canadian Open tonight.
Baddeley was 10-over-par through 33 holes and wasn't going to make the cut. Nevertheless, we will slap him onto our injury list and monitor his news just in case the score was more than sloppy play. He is not listed in the published field of next week's Buick Open.

Aaron Baddeley signed for a 7-over-par 38-41=79 after his opening round of the Memorial.
Back in action since withdrawing before the Texas Open, Baddeley was rusty and possibly still nursing a sore wrist today, as he hit just seven GIR. A usually trustworthy putter let him down as well as he took a whopping 29 putts, which likely speaks more to a shaky game around the slick greens than it does to a suddenly worthless putting stroke.

Aaron Baddeley is listed in the published field of next week's Memorial.
Baddeley has been resting a sore wrist, which bumped him early in the week of the Texas Open. In seven career starts at the Memorial, his only notable finish is a T-9 in 2007. Give him some time to get his competitive groove back.
