Paul Casey has earned invitations to the 2010 Masters and U.S. Open after finishing in 22nd place on the PGA Tour's Money List.
The other players earning invitations to both tournaments because of their top-30 finishes were: Matt Kuchar (24th), Ian Poulter (25th), John Rollins (28th) and Justin Leonard (30th). Rory Sabbatini (18th) and Tim Clark (29th) were already eligible for the Masters but now have an invitation to the U.S. Open after their top-30 finishes.

Paul Casey has withdrawn from the Dubai World Championship, which will held November 19-22.
Casey was forced to withdraw from last week's WGC-HSBC Champions due to fears that he had injured the interior oblique muscle, which had caused him to miss most of the second half of the season. He went back to the Untied States to be evaluated and it was found that he had irritated the area, but hadn't torn the muscle. However, according to Casey on his Twitter page, his doctor has ordered him not to play in Dubai.

Paul Casey withdrew on Sunday from the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai, China.
Casey played two holes in second round when he withdrew due to concerns that he might have reinjured himself. He has missed a good portion of the second half of the season due to a torn interior oblique muscle. He has also withdrawn from next week's UBS Hong Kong Open to return to the United States for an exam. "He’s had pain before but he felt it severe enough to realise that it was something different," said his agent, Guy Kinnings. "We always agreed that if he felt that, he would stop. So I’m going to get him home tonight to see a specialist he's been working with." At this point, a start at the Dubai World Championship (November 19-22) seems doubtful. Depending on the doctor's report, it's possible that Casey won't return until the SBS Championship (January 7-10).

Paul Casey lost his first two matches of the Volvo World Match Play Championship.
This was Casey's first official competition since withdrawing from the WGC-Bridgestone two and a half months ago due to a torn interior oblique muscle. Scott Strange downed the Brit 1-up in the first match, and then Anthony Kim won 3-up. Although he cannot advance in the competition, Casey will face Retief Goosen on Friday.

Due to his lingering rib muscle injury, Paul Casey has withdrawn from next week's Dunhill Links Championship.
"I am really disappointed as it is a fantastic event and one I am very sorry to miss," Casey said, "but I know that coming back too soon could undo all the rehabilitation work I have done. It has been a very frustrating time, but I feel my patience is being rewarded having now completed several light practice sessions with no ill effects." Casey has now circled the Volvo World Match Play Championship in Spain on October 29-November 1 as his return site.

Paul Casey is listed in the early published field of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on October 1-4.
If you follow him on Twitter, then this isn't news. On September 14 he posted, "Dunhill Links could be next but not sure yet. I'll certainly be ready for Volvo matchplay (Oct. 29), HSBC and R2D [Race to Dubai]." Full-season PGA Tour fantasy formats can let him go unless you're in a keeper league. At worst, his value should remain the same for 2010.
