Brandt Snedeker opened the Northern Trust Open with a nifty 5-under-par 32-34=66.
With an 0-for-2 record at the NTO, Snedeker might have tumbled a few notches in this deep field, but he's rewarding his most loyal fantasy owners early. He hit 12 GIR and had just 25 putts today, dropping six birdies. Before you rush to insert him into your starting lineup for the second round, consider that he went 67-75=MC here a year ago. Still, he's playing too well lately to post similar results this week.

Brandt Snedeker carded a final round of 4-under-par 68 and finished in a three-way tie for second place at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Snedeker fell behind the early place set by the leaders and at the turn he was well off the lead after a 1-over-par opening nine. On the back nine, he made a run with three birdies in four holes starting at the 11th hole and after a birdie at the 17th hole he had climbed up into a tie for second place. Snedeker needed a birdie at the par-5 final hole to put any pressure on the leader, Ben Crane, but his 18-foot birdie attempt just slid by the hole. The T-2 finish is the second Top 10 result for Snedeker this season and it is his best finish on the PGA Tour since his T-2 at last year's John Deere Classic.

Brandt Snedeker posted a final round of 5-over-par 76 and missed the FedExCup Playoffs after a triple-bogey at the final hole.
Snedeker missed a good part of the first half of the season after a rib injury and he has played almost every week over the last 14 tournaments in order to reach the FedExCup finals for the top-30 at the Tour Championship. He was in 28th place going into the final hole, but a poor tee shot had him on the green in three and then he proceeded to four-putt from 16-feet to fall to 33rd on the FedExCup Points List. The crushing blow for Snedeker means that John Senden will get the 30th and final spot to the Tour Championship in two weeks.

Brandt Snedeker signed for a 6-under-par 31-33=64 after his opening round of the Wyndham Championship, securing a share of the early clubhouse lead with Chez Reavie.
The 2007 Wyndham champion at Forest Oaks has had an interesting go of it lately, with three top-5s and three missed cuts in his last six starts. Two of those MCs were at the British Open and PGA Championship. In fact, Snedeker was one of three golfers that failed to cash despite starts in all four majors (Briny Baird and Michael Campbell joined him). Today, he hit 13 GIR and needed just 25 putts.

Brandt Snedeker withdrew on Monday from the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open.
Snedeker would have one of the favorites this week. He has three Top 10s in his last five starts on the Tour, and because of those Top 10s, Snedeker is currently in 74th place on the Tour's Money List.

Brandt Snedeker posted a final round of 6-under-par 65 and finished in a tie for second place at the John Deere Classic.
Snedeker quietly moved up the leaderboard with an opening nine of 4-under-par. The back nine saw only birdies at the 14th and 17th holes, but after he had sunk his 13-foot birdie-putt at the 17th, he moved up into a tie for third place. Snedeker got into trouble on the final hole, but he was to scramble to save par, and his third place finish turned out to be a second place finish a few minutes later when Tim Petrovic double-bogeyed the final hole. The T-2 is his best finish this season and it is the second Top 5 in-a-row for him
