PGATour.com has reported that Henrik Stenson has accepted membership on the PGA Tour for 2010.
It was just a passing reference in relation to Rory McIlroy's seesawing adventure over his own decision to join the PGA Tour next year, but it was a reference nonetheless: "... [McIlroy] can join players like Henrik Stenson and Jeev Milka Singh, who have already announced their decision to join the TOUR in 2010." Qualifying non-members have until December 1 to make their decisions, so do not be shocked if Stenson flip-flops. He has declined membership the last two years.

Henrik Stenson carded a final round of 6-under-par 66 and won THE PLAYERS Championship by four-strokes over Ian Poulter.
Stenson started the day six-strokes off the lead, but a total collapse by third round leader Alex Cejka brought Stenson back into the tournament. The first birdie of the day came for Stenson at the 7th hole and it soon earned him a share of the title when Ben Crane bogeyed the 8th hole. A birdie at the 9th hole gave him a one-stroke lead and after birdies at the 11th, 13th and 15th holes his lead expanded to three-strokes over Ian Poulter. Stenson added to the lead after a birdie at the par-5 16th and any hope for the field ended when he stayed dry at the famous island hole. The championship is Stenson's second PGA Tour career victory and it is his first stroke play championship on the Tour. The win also officially qualifies him for next year's Masters.

Henrik Stenson carded a final round of 2-under-par 70 and finished in a tie for third place at the Shell Houston open.
Stenson started the round in 20th place, but the winds took such a toll on the field that he finished in a three-way tie for third place. He will play next week in the Masters, where he has finished in 17th place in each of the last two years.
