Ed Price of AOL Fanhouse reports that a follow-up surgery on Alex Rodriguez's right hip may not be necessary.
"I need a little more tests, but so far I don't think he will need surgery," said Marc J. Philippon, who performed the initial surgery on the slugger back in March. "I just watched him in batting practice and examined him. And clinically, he certainly doesn't need any intervention at this time. It's very difficult to make a formal, definite statement right now. His power is excellent and his rotation in his hip is excellent." Philippon said Rodriguez's hip was at about 95 percent right now and should be 100 percent by spring training. Source: AOL Fanhouse
