Jose Reyes (hamstring) is walking freely without crutches.
"He’s not 100%, obviously, at this point, but he looks great," said his agent Chris Leible. Reyes underwent surgery to repair a torn right hamstring tendon in October. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, the 26-year-old shortstop is expected to be fully recovered in time for the start of the spring training.

Jose Reyes underwent successful surgery Thursday morning to repair his torn right hamstring tendon.
The procedure was designed to clear up scar tissue behind the shortstop's right knee. Reyes is expected to begin rehab shortly and should be able to resume baseball activities in early January. As long as he avoids too many setbacks, he'll be fine for the start of spring training.

Jose Reyes will undergo hamstring tendon surgery on Thursday.
The surgery will clean up scare tissue around a hamstring tendon behind his right knee. No surgery will be required for the muscle tear he suffered in his right leg in September. The Mets fully expect Reyes to be ready for the start of spring training.

According to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, Jose Reyes will undergo hamstring tendon surgery "within the next couple of days."
No word on what the delay was, but perhaps they wanted a second opinion from the Dodgers' doctors. The surgery will clean up scare tissue around a hamstring tendon behind his right knee. No surgery will be required for the muscle tear he suffered in his right leg in September. The Mets fully expect Reyes to be ready for the start of spring training.

Jose Reyes will have surgery "to clean up scar tissue around the accessory hamstring tendon behind the right knee," the Mets announced Monday.
The club released a statement: "Reyes will undergo surgery to clean up scar tissue around the accessory hamstring tendon behind the right knee (semi tendinosis tendon). He will not require surgery for the separate hamstring muscle tear in his right leg which he suffered in late September while working out for his return to baseball. ... The date of the surgery is yet to be determined. Reyes is expected to fully recover and be ready for Spring Training."

Jose Reyes is expected to have surgery on his torn right hamstring, which he suffered last week.
Mets chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon said it's "looking like" Reyes will have surgery. The surgery is not expected to impact Reyes' availability for the 2010 season, although he may not be good for fifty-plus steals next season.
