 Ubaldo Jimenez-S- RockiesOct. 12 - 10:04 pm et
Ubaldo Jimenez held the Phillies to two earned runs over seven innings Monday, but the Rockies were eliminated from the NLDS.
Jimenez pitched very well on four days' rest, but he was equally matched by Phillies starter Cliff Lee and wasn't given as much late-game run support. He finished the regular season 15-12 with a 3.47 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP, and should be high on fantasy draft boards next season.

 Jason Marquis-S - Nationals Oct. 11 - 8:25 am et

Jason Marquis will remain in the bullpen for Game 4 of the NLDS.
Marquis, who had a 6.05 ERA in his final seven starts, was one of Colorado's most dependable pitchers the entire season, but won't draw a start once in the NLDS. The Rockies plan on bringing Ubaldo Jimenez back for Game 4 Monday. If Game 5 is played, the nod will go to Aaron Cook.

 Ubaldo Jimenez-S - Rockies Oct. 3 - 2:09 am et

Ubaldo Jimenez held the Dodgers to one run in six innings and struck out 10 to pick up a win Friday.
The Rockies could still win the West and finish with the NL's best record with a sweep in Los Angeles. Jimenez did his part on Friday with his first win in five starts against the Dodgers this year. He had been 0-3 with a 7.77 ERA against the club. He finishes the regular season 15-12 with a 3.47 ERA. It's arguably the best season any Rockies starter has ever had.
 Ubaldo Jimenez-S - Rockies Sep. 20 - 7:10 pm et

Ubaldo Jimenez held the Diamondbacks to one run in seven innings to pick up a win on Sunday.
Jimenez struck out eight while walking three and giving up five hits. The quality start was his 13th in 14 appearances and improves his record to 14-11 to go with an excellent 3.47 ERA. It's no stretch calling Jimenez one of the breakout stars of the 2009 campaign.
 Ubaldo Jimenez-S - Rockies Sep. 16 - 1:50 am et

Ubaldo Jimenez was tagged for seven runs -- six earned -- in 2 2/3 innings Tuesday in his first start since straining his hamstring.
Jimenez came out wild and received very little help from his defense, two factors which let to his first outing of less than six innings since April. He still did manage to fan six in the outing. If the hamstring wasn't a factor, he should bounce back next time out.
 Esmil Rogers-R - Rockies Sep. 10 - 7:10 pm et

Rockies pitching prospect Esmil Rogers will be promoted to start Saturday's game against the Padres.
Calling up Rogers will allow the Rockies to slide Ubaldo Jimenez to Tuesday's crucial outing against the Giants. Rogers, 24, was 11-7 with a 4.41 ERA in 26 starts between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Colorado Springs this season. He holds some amount of win potential with the streaking Rockies, but isn't a great overall fantasy bet.
