Marlins placed RHP Matt Lindstrom on the 15-day disabled list with a right elbow sprain.
Lindstrom has been ordered to rest for four weeks, meaning he may not return until mid-August. Leo Nunez, Dan Meyer and Brian Sanches are likely to split closing duties initially. Right-hander Chris Leroux replaced Lindstrom on the 25-man roster and will operate in middle relief.

Matt Lindstrom is not expected to be available for Tuesday after pitching in three consecutive games.
Top setup man Leo Nunez has also pitched in three straight, so Kiko Calero and Brian Sanchez could be called on to handle the late-inning duties on Tuesday.

Marlins purchased the contract of RHP Brian Sanches.
Sanches had a 2.04 ERA and four saves in 16 relief appearances for Triple-A New Orleans. He'll work in middle relief for the Marlins.
