 Julio Borbon-DH - Rangers Dec. 7 - 4:11 pm et

According to Rangers manager Ron Washington, Julio Borbon is officially the club's new center fielder and leadoff hitter.
Josh Hamilton will move to left field and Nelson Cruz will play right. David Murphy, meanwhile, will be the fourth outfielder and also occasionally play designated hitter. If the team signs Marlon Byrd, this entire hierarchy would change, but that doesn't appear likely at this point. Byrd has said he will probably decline the team's arbitration offer, and Texas is probably better off taking the Type B compensation he will net them by leaving.

 Nelson Cruz-OF - Rangers Dec. 6 - 10:09 pm et

According to Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com, the Rays and Reds are among the teams that have asked about Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz.
Texas management is reluctant to trade the outfielder, however. He batted .260/.332/.524 with 33 home runs and 76 RBI in 2009 while earning just over $400,000. The Rangers need to hoard guys like Cruz, not ship them off, but perhaps they'll be blown away by an offer at this week's Winter Meetings.

 Nelson Cruz-OF - Rangers Nov. 23 - 8:39 pm et

According to FOXSports.com, several teams have called the Rangers about outfielder Nelson Cruz this offseason.
A major league source told FOXSports.com that the Rangers are "not motivated" to move Cruz because of his production and reasonable salary, but it doesn't hurt to try. The 29-year-old hit .260/.332/.524 in 2009 with 33 home runs. "He's been popular," said FOXSports.com's unidentified source.

 Nelson Cruz-OF - Rangers Sep. 4 - 10:55 pm et

Nelson Cruz connected for his 31st home run in a win over the Orioles on Friday night.
In addition to a .428 (6-for-14) start to September, Cruz has six homers and 12 RBI since returning from a sprained left ankle. The 29-year-old slugger is now batting .271/.346/.562 with 31 home runs and 70 RBI. The Rangers could really use his bat with Michael Young and Josh Hamilton currently sidelined.
 Nelson Cruz-OF - Rangers Sep. 2 - 10:58 pm et

Nelson Cruz was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday night.
Cruz did his 30th home run of the season, a solo shot, in the sixth inning. He has returned quite nicely from a sprained left ankle, collecting five homers and 11 RBI over his last 13 games. Looks like those who invested in him as a sleeper coming into the season are sitting pretty right now.
