According to Rangers manager Ron Washington, Julio Borbon is officially the club's new center fielder and leadoff hitter.
Josh Hamilton will move to left field and Nelson Cruz will play right. David Murphy, meanwhile, will be the fourth outfielder and also occasionally play designated hitter. If the team signs Marlon Byrd, this entire hierarchy would change, but that doesn't appear likely at this point. Byrd has said he will probably decline the team's arbitration offer, and Texas is probably better off taking the Type B compensation he will net them by leaving. Source: MLB.com
