 Kiko Calero-R- MarlinsJan. 28 - 8:54 am et
The Cubs are still in touch with free agent relievers Kiko Calero and Chan Ho Park, reports Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com.
Hard to argue with either of them. Calero, 35, compiled a 1.95 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 69/30 K/BB ratio in 60 innings with the Marlins last season while the 36-year-old Park found success out of Philadelphia's pen, posting a 2.52 ERA in 50 innings. The Cubs could use another solid bullpen arm, but will probably take whoever is willing to accept a one-year deal.

 Chan Ho Park-S - Phillies Jan. 27 - 2:49 pm et

Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Giants have interest in free agent right-hander Chan Ho Park, but only with a minor league deal.
No surprise, Park still thinks he deserves a major league contract. It's hard to say he doesn't deserve it. He clearly doesn't belong in the rotation, but the 36-year-old right-hander was fantastic out of the bullpen with the Phillies last season, tallying a 2.52 ERA and 52/16 K/BB ratio in 50 innings.

SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that the Rays and Cubs are among the teams eyeing free agent reliever Chan Ho Park.
Park scoffed at a one-year, $3 million contract offer from the Phillies in early December. He's still hoping to find a deal that is lengthier and contains a higher annual salary. The 36-year-old righty had an ugly 7.29 ERA over seven starts in 2009, but he compiled a 2.52 ERA in 38 relief appearances.

 Chan Ho Park-S - Phillies Dec. 31 - 4:56 pm et

Chan Ho Park will not return to the Phillies next season, reports Todd Zolecki of MLB.com.
Park felt he was worth more than the one-year, $3 million deal offered by the Phillies in early December, but the signing of Danys Baez all but guarantees he'll move on. Park, 36, was punished to the tune of a 7.29 ERA over seven starts in 2009, but was essential to the Philadelphia bullpen down the stretch, tallying a 2.52 ERA in 38 appearances. Best-case scenario is that he finds a two-year deal similar to the one the Brewers gave LaTroy Hawkins.

Chan Ho Park has filed a lawsuit against former Dodgers catcher Chad Kreuter, accusing him of failing to fully pay off a $460,000 loan.
According to the suit, Park lent the money to Kreuter in October of 2005 and expected re-payment with interest a year later. Kreuter paid back $290,000 in April 2007 but has not dished out another dime. The two played together on the Dodgers during the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

 Fernando Rodney-R - Angels Dec. 22 - 11:04 pm et

MLB.com's Todd Zolecki was told by a source "that talks aren't serious" between the Phillies and free agent reliever Fernando Rodney.
Rodney is reportedly in serious discussions with the Angels. If Los Angeles seals that deal, the Phillies could turn their attention to a host of relievers for bullpen help, including John Smoltz, Mike MacDougal or Danys Baez, amongst others. Chan Ho Park and Scott Eyre could also be candidates to return, although Amaro has said Park is unlikely to re-sign.
