Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe has confirmed that Mike Cameron and the Red Sox have reached agreement on a two-year, $15.5 million contract.
The deal will be finalized once the outfielder takes a physical, which is scheduled for Tuesday in Boston. Cameron, 36, batted .250/.342/.452 with 24 home runs and 32 doubles in 628 plate appearances this past season for the Brewers. He's getting old but remains one of the game's top defensive outfielders and could either man left field or center for the Red Sox in 2010. Source: Boston Globe
