 Orlando Cabrera-SS - Twins Oct. 1 - 4:55 pm et

Orlando Cabrera went 2-for-5 with a three-run double Thursday in the win over the Tigers.
The double wasn't far away from being his first grand slam. Cabrera has been an abysmal hitter with the bases loaded in his career, but he broke the game open today, expanding the Twins lead from three runs to six in the top of the eighth. He's currently working on a streak of 12 games with at least one hit and one run scored. He's also driven in 12 runs during that span.

Orlando Cabrera and Delmon Young drove in runs in the 10th inning as the Twins topped the Tigers 3-2 in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Joe Nathan gave Twins fans reason to worry when he came right back and allowed a Curtis Granderson homer to start the bottom of the 10th, but he held on from there and the Twins are now just one game back in the AL Central. The Twins went ahead in the 10th when Denard Span singled, advanced twice on wild pitches and then scored on Cabrera's single. Young later delivered a sac fly with the bases loaded and one out. It originally looked like the Twins might win it in the ninth. However, after Alexi Casilla's leadoff double, the team tried back-to-back bunts. The first one worked, advancing Casilla to third. Nick Punto's didn't, as he popped into a double play.

Orlando Cabrera tripled in Alexi Casilla in the top of the 10th to lead the Twins to a 5-4 win over the Royals on Friday.
As one might expect, the Twins won the battle of the bullpens after both Nick Blackburn and Luke Hochevar allowed three runs over seven innings. Still, the Royals made it interesting, as Brayan Pena homered off Joe Nathan in the ninth to send the game into extras. Nathan was able to pitch a scoreless 10th to nail down the victory.
 Orlando Cabrera-SS - Twins Aug. 19 - 11:37 pm et

Orlando Cabrera drove in two runs, including the eventual winning run against the Rangers on Wednesday night.
Cabrera got the Twins on the board with a sacrifice fly in the fifth and then singled home Denard Span to put them ahead for good in a four-run sixth. Cabrera has cooled down a bit from his red-hit July, batting .287 since joining the Twins.
 Orlando Cabrera-SS - Twins Aug. 5 - 10:11 pm et

Orlando Cabrera extended his hitting streak to a career-best 15 games in a loss to the Indians on Wednesday night.
Cabrera finished the night 3-for-4 with a run scored. He is 8-for-17 (.471) since coming over from the Athletics.
