 Frank Catalanotto-OF - Mets Jan. 29 - 3:15 pm et

SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that the Mets are among three teams looking at free agent utilityman Frank Catalanotto.
The Brewers and Marlins are believed to be the other interested clubs. Catalanotto, 35, batted .278/.346/.382 with one homer, six doubles, three triples and nine RBI in 144 at-bats last season for the Brewers. He would play a limited utility role for each of the three interested teams.

 Jason Bourgeois-OF - Astros Aug. 19 - 3:44 pm et

Jason Bourgeois is getting the start in right field on Wednesday.
Frank Catalanotto has been getting the starting nod in right field lately, but is out of the lineup with Pirates lefty Paul Maholm on the mound. Given his lack of a regular starting gig, Bourgeois is not worth owning in NL-only leagues.

 Corey Hart-OF - Brewers Aug. 2 - 7:44 pm et

Corey Hart had surgery Sunday to remove his appendix and will go on the disabled list.
The Brewers are bringing Bill Hall right back to the majors as a result. Frank Catalanotto may get the majority of the time in right field for the next three weeks. Jody Gerut is the better option, given his defense, but it's pretty clear which of the two manager Ken Macha prefers.

 Corey Hart-OF - Brewers Aug. 2 - 6:30 pm et

The Brewers will discuss Corey Hart's status ater the game after he was taken to the hospital Sunday.
There's some concern that he has appendicitis, which would likely cost him the rest of August. Jody Gerut and Frank Catalanotto would fill in for him if he has to miss a few weeks.

 Ryan Braun-OF - Brewers Jul. 18 - 5:07 pm et

Ryan Braun (wrist and thumb) is out of the lineup on Saturday.
Braun came out of Friday's contest in the seventh inning after having been hit by a pitch earlier in the game. Braun subsequently complained of soreness in his wrist and thumb, which explains his absence from Saturday's lineup. Frank Catalanotto starts in his place. No word yet on how long Braun is expected to miss, but we'll keep you updated.
