
According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, the Rockies are negotiating with Rafael Betancourt.
Betancourt has a $5.4 million option for next season, but the club would like to lock him up to a multi-year contract. The 34-year-old right-hander posted a 2.73 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in 56 innings this season, including a 1.78 ERA in 25 1/3 innings after bring acquired by the Rockies in July. Source: Denver Post
