Jayson Werth hit two of his team's four homers Wednesday as the Phillies beat the Dodgers 10-4 in Game 5 of the NLCS to advance to the World Series.
Pedro Feliz and Shane Victorino also homered in an easy victory. The Phillies totaled 35 runs in the five games against the Dodgers, getting the job done against starter and reliever alike. Werth entered with just one hit in the series going into the night, but that too was a homer. He's up to five homers in the postseason to date. Victorino has three himself, after hitting just 10 in 620 at-bats during the regular season. |
