 Will Ohman-R - Orioles Jan. 31 - 8:22 am et

Seven or eight teams watched Will Ohman pitch last week, reports Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.
Ohman is coming off elbow and shoulder surgery that cut his 2009 season short. The 32 year old is currently throwing in the mid-80s although his velocity is expected to rise. The left-hander is being chased most aggressively by the Orioles, Royals and Blue Jays.

The Orioles have made an offer to free agent reliever Will Ohman, according to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun.
The Dodgers declined Ohman's $2.2 million option for 2010 in early November, thus launching him into the open market. He's found very little interest, probably because he posted a 5.84 ERA in 12 2/3 innings last year and is coming off arthroscopic shoulder surgery. The 32-year-old will throw for clubs this week in an effort to prove his health.

Dodgers declined LHP Will Ohman's $2.2 million option for 2010.
2009 was a lost season for Ohman, who had a 5.84 ERA in just 12 2/3 innings for the Dodgers before undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery in June. The 32-year-old will have to hope potential suitors focus on his impressive 2008, when he posted a 3.68 ERA in 58 1/3 frames for the Braves.

Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports that LHP Will Ohman had his $2.2 million option declined by the Dodgers, making him a free agent.
Ohman had a 5.84 ERA in just 12 2/3 innings for the Dodgers before undergoing arthroscopic surgery in June. Despite the lost year, the 31-year old should be sought after as a low-risk, high-reward signing.

Will Ohman underwent arthroscopic surgery Monday on his left shoulder.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum. Ohman headed to the Dodgers' spring training complex Tuesday and will be allowed to rehab there until he re-signs or finds another club. The free agent left-hander had a 5.84 ERA and 1.62 WHIP in 12 1/3 innings this season with the Dodgers.
