According to the Globe and Mail's Jeff Blair, Lyle Overbay is "90 percent" sure to be traded at the Winter Meetings.
Overbay was previously linked to Seattle. It's become increasingly clear over the past couple seasons that Toronto has soured on the first baseman. Earning $7 million next season, the soon-to-be 33-year-old hit .265/.372/.466 in 2009 and is thought to be an above-average defender.

 Lyle Overbay-1B - Blue Jays Nov. 11 - 4:30 pm et

According to FOXSports.com, the Mariners have discussed a trade with the Blue Jays about Lyle Overbay.
According to the report, Overbay "would welcome" a deal since he lives in the Pacific Northwest. Overbay is locked in at $7 million next season, but a potential trade doesn't mean that the Mariners wouldn't bring back Russell Branyan, as well. The Blue Jays seem determined to trade Overbay, as his name as been linked to several teams in the past week.

 Milton Bradley-OF - Mariners Nov. 9 - 6:40 pm et

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Cubs have discussed the framework of a three-team deal involving Milton Bradley.
The idea is described as a longshot, but here's how it would play out: Bradley will go to the Blue Jays. Lyle Overbay will head to the Mets. And Luis Castillo will land with the Cubs. The teams involved have only discussed the deal's framework, and not in direct fashion, according to Rosenthal's sources. It makes some sense, but feels a bit far-fetched to be taken too seriously.

 Chris Snyder-C - Diamondbacks Nov. 7 - 9:17 pm et

According to Steve Gilbert of MLB.com, the Diamondbacks and Blue Jays are "making progress" on a trade that would send Chris Snyder to Toronto and Lyle Overbay to Arizona.
This corroborates an earlier report by Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Snyder has become expendable with Miguel Montero's solid season and Overbay would provide some veteran stewardship of first base while Brandon Allen hones his skills at Triple-A Reno. Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said he plans to be more active with trades than free agency, and Snyder would certainly fit that bill. Snyder, 28, is younger than impending free agent Rod Barajas, with a better defensive reputation behind the plate.

 Chris Snyder-C - Diamondbacks Nov. 7 - 1:22 pm et

Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports that the Diamondbacks are discussing a trade that would send catcher Chris Snyder to the Blue Jays for first baseman Lyle Overbay.
Snyder, 28, has two years and $11.25 million left on his contract while Overbay, 31, has one year and $7 million left on his. Piecoro speculates that the Diamondbacks might want to give top-prospect Brandon Allen some more seasoning at Triple-A Reno. With a solid glove, Overbay would stabilize a position where first base options combined to hit just .229/.321/.398 last season. If no money is exchanged, the Diamondbacks would save $4.25 million over two years. It's hard to believe the Blue Jays like Snyder that much.
