Dodgers signed RHP Josh Towers to a minor league contract.
With a split contract, Towers can make $700,000 for time spent in the majors and $90,000 in the minors. The 32-year-old right-hander made two appearances with the Yankees this past September -- his first since the 2007 season as a member of the Blue Jays. Towers posted a 2.74 ERA in 101 2/3 innings with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in '09. |
