A source tells Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com that free agent right-hander Chien-Ming Wang will decide on a new team in the next 7 to 10 days.
While the Mets and the Dodgers are lagging behind, Wang has received offers from a pair of unnamed clubs, according to Rosenthal. Various teams, including the Orioles, have expressed interest in the 29-year-old, although he is expected to miss the early part of the season as he rehabs from shoulder surgery.

 Chien-Ming Wang-S - Yankees Feb. 3 - 11:14 am et

The Nationals have joined the running for free agent right-hander Chien-Ming Wang, according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson.
Dodgers representatives saw Wang (shoulder) throw off flat ground last week and told MLB.com that he's at least three months from full health, but that apparently hasn't slowed interest. The 29-year-old Taiwan native had a 9.64 ERA and a 2.02 WHIP in 12 outings (nine starts) last season while battling a shoulder injury. He owns a 4.16 career ERA and has also drawn looks this winter from the Mets and Cardinals, among a few others.

The Dodgers saw Chien-Ming Wang (shoulder) throw off flat ground last week and believe he's at least three months from being 100 percent.
That won't help the 29-year-old's stock. He's drawn interest this winter from close to a dozen teams, including the Dodgers, Mets and Cardinals, but it's unlikely that any of them would sign Wang to a major league contract before he proves the health of his surgically-repaired right shoulder. Wang may have to wait until the season gets going before he finds a deal, unless some desperate club suddenly decides he's worth the risk.

The Dodgers are among the teams that have looked at Chien-Ming Wang's medical records, reports Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times.
The market for Wang is ramping up as we approach Spring Training. With his former manager Joe Torre in Los Angeles, many have considered the Dodgers a natural fit, however he has garnered serious interest from several teams. Working his way back from shoulder surgery, the 29-year-old right-hander isn't expected to pitch in the majors until May.

According to ESPN.com's Jayson Stark, free agent Chien-Ming Wang has drawn serious interest from "four or five teams" and could sign shortly.
The 29-year-old right-hander was considering waiting until the end of spring training (or later) to sign a contract, but his agent told ESPN.com on Thursday that a deal could get done if "someone makes an offer we can't say no to." The Mets, Dodgers and Cardinals have been linked to Wang this winter.

The Mets are among a dozen or so teams interested in free agent right-hander Chien-Ming Wang, according to the New York Daily News.
Wang has also been linked the Cardinals this winter. The 29-year-old had back-to-back 19-win seasons in 2006 and 2007 but a laundry list of injuries have robbed him of his effectiveness. Wang had a 9.64 ERA and a 2.02 WHIP in 12 outings (nine starts) last season but his shoulder was not healthy.
