Willie Harris exited Saturday's game against the Braves due to a strained right oblique.
He limped off the field after striking out against Jair Jurrjens in the fifth inning. Harris is unlikely to play in tomorrow's season finale, so he'll probably finish the season with a .235/.364/.393 hitting line.

Alberto Gonzalez will start at shortstop with Willie Harris manning second base. "He said it's something that crops up every year. It was really sore today," interim manager Jim Riggleman said Friday afternoon about Guzman. "He thinks he might be OK tomorrow or the next day, whichever. It's basically day to day. It's too tender to do much on him today."

Harris is hitting just .245, but with 17 extra-base hits and 23 walks in 147 at-bats, he's been a very solid player once again. He could be hotly pursued by teams looking for bench help this month.

Willie Harris went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Thursday night.
Harris has only three home runs on the year, but two of them have come in the past five games. Eight of his 15 extra-base hits have come during the month of June, but he's still hitting just .207 this month.

Willie Harris blasted a walk-off two-run homer in the 12th inning Saturday as the Nationals topped the Blue Jays 5-3.
Harris finished 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored. With his batting average at .228, he's hardly a fantasy asset, but it's nice to see him help the Nationals win a game. The D.C. club has just 20 wins on the season.
