Mark Ellis hit a walk-off solo homer in the bottom of the ninth to beat the White Sox 3-2 on Sunday.
Ellis homered off closer Bobby Jenks with two outs. He also had an RBI single earlier in the contest. Ellis is now 22-for-51 with two homers and 19 RBI this month. He's always been a streaky hitter, so he's worth using in more leagues than usual at the moment.

Mark Ellis went 5-fof-5 and drove in four runs as the Athletics cruised past the Orioles 9-1 on Monday night.
The A's led 5-0 when the game was delayed for nearly an hour in the seventh, and after play was resumed they piled on four more runs, with Ellis driving in their final run on a double in his last at-bat to complete a perfect day at the plate. The second baseman raises his average to .270 with the strong effort.

Mark Ellis finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a losing effort against the Royals on Saturday night.
Ellis hit a two-run single in the second inning and a solo shot in the ninth. Despite the strong performance, he's still batting just .251 this season with five dingers and 31 RBI.
 Mark Ellis-2B - Athletics Jun. 28 - 3:40 pm et

Athletics activated second baseman Mark Ellis from the 60-day disabled list.
Ellis is back at second base and hitting ninth today. Adam Kennedy has shifted over to third base and will play there most of the time, leaving fewer at-bats for Jack Hannahan and Bobby Crosby.
 Mark Ellis-2B - Athletics Jun. 27 - 11:17 am et

Mark Ellis is expected to start at second base on Sunday when he comes off the 60-day DL.
Adam Kennedy will likely be moved to either first or third, depending on the availability of Jason Giambi. Daric Barton or Jack Hannahan are the most likely candidates to be sent down.

 Mark Ellis-2B - Athletics Jun. 22 - 10:55 pm et

Mark Ellis (calf) is scheduled to come off the disabled list Sunday.
Ellis is six games into his 10-game rehab stint. Unfortunately he is batting just .190 during the stint. He was batting .206 prior to suffering a serious strained left calf muscle in late April, so don't expect too much more out of Ellis when he is healthy.
