The Dodgers are exploring a trade with the Reds for right-hander Aaron Harang, reports Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times.
He's not Roy Halladay or even Randy Wolf, but at the very least, Harang would have the potential to be a front-end starter. Not surprisingly, the Dodgers are asking the Reds to pay a portion of the $15 million Harang is guaranteed moving forward. Harang is owed $12.5 million next season with a $12.75 million club option for 2011 -- if he is traded, the option becomes a $14 million mutual option with a $2.5 million buyout. The Reds are believed to be asking for one or two players on the team's major league roster in return. Source: Los Angeles Times
