Travis Hafner is still dealing with fatigue in his surgically-repaired shoulder.
As a result, he has required semi-regular days off, including Wednesday. "It took us this long to get him to [play] four days in a row," manager Eric Wedge said. "That’s real. He still has some fatigue in the shoulder. I don’t think he’s hurt, but there have been lasting affects from the surgery and the rehab. I think he needs some down time to be 100 percent." Despite the fatigue, Hafner has hit .364 (8-for-22) with two homers and seven RBI in his last five games. Source: Akron Beacon Journal
