According to the Philadelphia Daily News, right-hander Clay Condrey (oblique) "is almost ready to pitch in a competitive situation."
"Competitive situation" is a broad term and could mean a simulated session, a major league outing, or a minor league playoff game. We'll have an update when the Phillies decide which it will be. Condrey had a 3.41 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 37 innings before suffering an oblique injury in late July. Source: Philadelphia Daily News
