 Bill Hall-3B - Mariners Sep. 16 - 9:07 pm et

Bill Hall (right quadriceps cramp) is out of Wednesday's lineup.
He sustained the injury running down the first-base line on Tuesday. "I thought he'd be able to play but he feels some soreness and we just feel it's probably better to give him a day [off]. We'll re-evaluate him tomorrow," manager Don Wakamatsu said.

 Bill Hall-3B - Mariners Sep. 4 - 1:21 am et

Bill Hall went 2-for-4 and hit his first homer as a Mariner in Thursday's 7-4 win over the A's.
Hall's homer was a two-run shot off Brett Tomko. He's hit .256/.306/.419 with eight RBI in 43 at-bats since being acquired from the Brewers. It's definite progress from where he was in the National League.
 Bill Hall-3B - Mariners Sep. 2 - 9:22 pm et

Bill Hall hit a go-ahead RBI double in a 3-0 win over the Angels on Wednesday night.
The two teams entered the seventh inning deadlocked in a scoreless tie, but Hall slugged a one-out double to chase Scott Kazmir from the game. Hall is batting .231 with six RBI in 39 at-bats since joining the Mariners in August. He's likely to find most of his playing time in the outfield now that Adrian Beltre is back.
 Jose Lopez-2B - Mariners Sep. 2 - 4:31 pm et

Jose Lopez is getting the start at first base on Wednesday.
Manager Don Wakamatsu wants as many right-handers as possible against Angels' lefty Scott Kazmir, so left-handed-hitting Mike Carp goes to the bench and Bill Hall gets the start at second.

 Ichiro Suzuki-OF - Mariners Aug. 31 - 8:55 pm et

Ichiro Suzuki was held out of the lineup Monday, and hasn't played in over a week, due to lingering calf tightness.
Ichiro was able to take batting practice and shag fly balls during pregame activities Monday evening, so there is some hope he might return to the lineup Tuesday. Bill Hall is in right field Monday night.
