According to Pete Caldera of the Bergen Record, there is mutual interest between the Yankees and free agent outfielder Rocco Baldelli.
Baldelli, 29, comes with serious injury risk, but still rakes against left-handed pitching and would fit within the Bombers' "hard-line budget," according to Caldera. He hit .253 with seven home runs and 23 RBI in 150 with the Red Sox last season while earning a $500,000 base salary. Source: Bergen Record
