Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Indians could be persuaded to trade shortstop-third baseman Jhonny Peralta if offered the right package.
Morosi floats the Twins as a possibility for their third base vacancy, though they are not actively pursuing the 27-year-old. Peralta suffered through a disappointing season in '09, batting .254/.316/.375 with 11 home runs, 83 RBI and a pathetic .690 OPS. He is owed $4.6 million next season, with a $7 million club option for 2011. Source: FOXSports.com
