Eric Bruntlett went 3-for-4 with his second homer and four RBI against the Astros on Monday.
But he didn't attempt a steal, which qualifies as unusual. Bruntlett is 6-for-10 swiping bases this month, giving him just one fewer attempt that he had all of last season (a career-high 9-for-11). Bruntlett should occupy pretty much the same role this year that he did last year, so it's probably going to tough for him to steal more than 10 bases. If anything, he's due less playing time, since the Phillies won't be as quick to remove Raul Ibanez from games as they were with Pat Burrell.
