 Paul Lo Duca-C- RockiesJan. 19 - 6:28 pm et
The Rockies could be interested in signing Paul Lo Duca to a minor league contract, according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post.
Manager Jim Tracy has ties to the veteran backstop stemming from their days together in Los Angeles. Lo Duca hasn't appeared in an MLB game since 2008, and hit just .243/.321/.295 in 173 at-bats that season. He turns 38 years old next April and is doubtful to ever again be productive at the major league level. Renck also passes along that the Rockies want to add a bench play and have interest in Robb Quinlan, Fernando Tatis and Melvin Mora.

The Rockies continue to show interest in utilityman Robb Quinlan.
"The Rockies have expressed to us that they like Robb, and there is mutual interest," agent Joe Speed said. "We are just waiting for the right type of offer." Quinlan, 32, batted .243/.275/.339 with two homers and 14 RBI in 115 at-bats with the Angels last season while playing all around the field. The Dodgers are also interested in adding him to their outfield mix.

Lyle Spencer of MLB.com reports that the Dodgers are interested in utility man Robb Quinlan as a fourth outfielder.
Quinlan, 32, has also received interest from the Rockies. The veteran batted just .243/.275/.339 with two homers and 14 RBI in 115 at-bats with the Angels last season, but offers some versatility in the field, even though defensive metrics don't rate him highly. As it stands, Xavier Paul and Jason Repko figure to compete for the fourth outfielder gig in Los Angeles. They'd probably be better off staying in-house.

Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies continue to search for versatile utility player and have Robb Quinlan high on their wish list.
Quinlan, 32, batted .243/.275/.339 with two homers and 14 RBI in 115 at-bats with the Angels last season and brings little to the table outside of his versatility. According to Renck, the club is also considering Melvin Mora and Fernando Tatis.

Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies are interested in free agent infielder-outfielder Robb Quinlan.
Quinlan’s agent Joe Speed, according to the report, said he’s had "multiple discussions" with Colorado, but added that he is looking to balance the "the right opportunity and the right offer." The Twins are also believed to have interest in the 32-year-old utility man. Quinlan batted .243/.275/.339 with two homers and 14 RBI in 115 at-bats with the Angels in '09.

Free agent utilityman Robb Quinlan has drawn interest recently from the Twins, among other teams, reports MLB.com's Lyle Spencer.
The Rockies are scheduled to meet with Quinlan's representatives at this week's Winter Meetings. It's quite surprising that he's drawing so much interest. The 32-year-old hit just .243/.275/.339 with two homers and 14 RBI in 2009 while playing shoddy defense at a variety of positions.
