During a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, manager Joe Girardi said the Yankees are "definitely considering" going with a three-man rotation against the Angels in the ALCS.
This means that C.C. Sabathia would pitch Games 1, 4 and 7, if necessary. Sabathia would be pitching on short-rest in Game 4, but would have regular rest headed into a potential Game 7. If inclement weather puts a wrinkle in Girardi's plan, look for Chad Gaudin, not Joba Chamberlain, to be used as the team's fourth starter. Source: The Journal News
