Humberto Quintero was scratched from Sunday's lineup with back spasms.
Quintero spoke with the media before first pitch: "I can’t play," he said. "It’s bothering me more today. It’s not a disabled list-type thing, nothing like that. By Tuesday I should be fine. I came in here Friday and ran a lot on this turf. I played catch and threw to the bases. Then the next day it was sore. I had spasms. I can hardly sit today." Ivan Rodriguez got the nod in his place.
