Mike DiGiovanna of Los Angeles Times reports that the Indians have received permission to interview Angels bench coach Ron Roenicke about their managerial opening.
It's unclear when he will interview for the position, or if he has already been interviewed, since not all of the candidates names have been revealed. Roenicke, 52, has spent ten seasons on Mike Scioscia's staff -- six as the third base coach and the last four as bench coach. He joins Manny Acta, Bobby Valentine, Don Mattingly and Torey Lovullo under consideration for the position. Source: Los Angeles Times
