 Jesse Crain-R - Twins Dec. 12 - 6:46 pm et

The Twins have decided to tender all 30 of their unsigned players, La Velle E. Neal III reports.
With Boof Bonser already gone, it didn't figure that the Twins would have any non-tenders. That said, the thought of giving up on Jesse Crain probably did cross their minds. He made $1.7 million while amassing a 4.70 ERA in 51 2/3 innings last season, and he's entering his last season before free agency.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire revealed Thursday that reliever Jesse Crain is dealing with a sore groin and may be unavailable Friday.
Crain got some treatment Thursday morning and is hoping he'll be fine. "I just did some cardio and some stretching and got in the hot tub," said the right-hander. "It felt better after all that stuff." Crain tossed 1 1/3 innings of relief in Tuesday's AL Central tiebreaker.

Jesse Crain earned the win in relief after retiring all four batters he faced, striking out three of them, against the Jays on Monday.
Crain was a massive disappointment before being sent down with an 8.15 ERA in June, but he's been a fine reliever since returning after the break, amassing a 3.62 ERA in 22 1/3 innings. Since the beginning of August, he's at 2.65 in 17 innings.

Twins recalled RHP Jesse Crain from Triple-A Rochester.
Crain, a former top setup man for closer Joe Nathan, struggled mightily with the Twins earlier this year to the tune of a 8.15 ERA and 1.92 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings. He went 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in 12 games with Rochester. Crain will likely initially work the middle innings for the Twins.

Twins optioned RHP Jesse Crain to Triple-A Rochester.
The right-hander has struggled to an 8.15 ERA and 1.92 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings this season and will attempt to get his problems worked out in the minors for now. His departure makes room for Tuesday's starter, Glen Perkins.
