Guzman emerged as a fine setup man for Chicago last season, posting a 2.95 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 55 appearances. A nagging injury to his right triceps muscle ended his season in late-September, but he is expected to have no limitations for the start of Spring Training.

Angel Guzman (triceps) is scheduled to undergo an MRI Tuesday.
Guzman hasn't pitched in two weeks and spent a month on the disabled list earlier this season with a similar triceps injury. ''I'd love to get back out there,'' said the right-hander. ''But if I need rest, I'll take a rest -- better two weeks instead of two years.'' He has a 2.95 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 47/23 K/BB ratio in 61 innings this season.

Angel Guzman hasn't pitched in a week due to lingering discomfort in his strained right triceps.
Guzman spent a month on the disabled list earlier this season with the same injury, but Cubs manager Lou Piniella said he expects the reliever to be available Monday night when the club begins a four-game set with the Brewers. Guzman has an impressive 2.95 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 47/23 K/BB ratio in 61 innings this season.

 Kevin Gregg-R - Blue Jays Aug. 18 - 9:13 am et

After watching Kevin Gregg blow his sixth save Monday, manager Lou Piniella said: "I think we're going to make some changes as far as what we're going to do in late innings."
Carlos Marmol, John Grabow and Angel Guzman are all candidates for the ninth-inning duties, and it's possible that Piniella will go with a committee approach that keeps Gregg involved as well. He's expected to make an official announcement sometime Tuesday.
