Further tests on Corey Hart's right hand Monday revealed only sprains and no fractures of any kind.
Hart was misdiagnosed a few days ago as having breaks in his fourth and fifth fingers. With the new findings, he'll only require about a month of recovery time and should be completely healthy by the start of spring training. The outfielder hit .260/.335/.418 with 12 home runs in 472 at-bats this season.

Corey Hart's X-rays came back positive for possible compression fractures in his right hand, stemming from his fourth and fifth fingers, meaning he is done for the season.
Bone scans will later confirm the story. For now, Hart is wearing a splint and soft case on his hand. He finishes the season with a .260/.335/.418 line and 12 home runs in 472 at-bats. His improved plate discipline has come at the expense of power, so maybe next year we'll see him return to his hacking ways.

Corey Hart may be shut down for the season after X-rays revealed that he has fractures in two fingers.
X-rays revealed "possible compression fractures to the fourth and fifth fingers of the right hand,"according to a team spokesperson. Hart played the duration of Tuesday's game and it is currently unclear how he was hurt.

Corey Hart won't return to the Brewers' starting lineup until Wednesday.
Hart was activated from a month-long stay on the disabled list Tuesday, but played nine innings in a rehab game Monday night and still needs some time to get his endurance back. "I feel like I can come back here and do some things," the outfielder said Tuesday. "I want to steal [bases], but I don't know if my legs are there quite yet."

Brewers activated outfielder Corey Hart from the 15-day disabled list.
Hart just finished up a four-game rehab stint with Triple-A Nashville. He hasn't played in the majors since undergoing an emergency appendectomy on August 2, but looked strong in the minors and should claim a majority of the starts in right field down the stretch.

Corey Hart (appendicitis) will be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday, according to MLB.com.
As expected. The club wanted to make sure that Hart was fine after a four-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville. He has been on the disabled list since early August.
