The New York Post's Joel Sherman confirmed Friday that the Blue Jays no longer have interest in free agent Carlos Delgado.
Delgado, who turns 38 this season, played only 26 games last year due to a hip issue. He batted .298/.393/.521 with four home runs and 23 RBI when healthy, but teams that have scouted his workouts in the Dominican this winter claim he is not moving well. The Jays will stick with Adam Lind at DH.

Adam Lind (elbow) is hoping to return to action on Saturday.
Lind hasn't appeared in a game since taking a Jonathan Papelbon off his right elbow Wednesday. He was still a little sore Friday evening.

Adam Lind (elbow) was out of the Blue Jays' starting lineup Wednesday.
Lind was struck on his right elbow by a pitch from Jonathan Papelbon on Tuesday. X-rays were negative. Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston said Lind is sore and could miss a couple of days, adding: "Hopefully he'll be able to play Friday."

Adam Lind slugged three home runs in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday night.
It was his fourth career mulit-homer game -- all this season -- but the first three-homer game of his career. Lind is now batting .305/.370/.562 with 35 homers and 114 RBI this season. He currently ranks fifth in the league with a .932 OPS.

Adam Lind hit a game-tying and a walk-off home run against the Mariners on Saturday afternoon.
He connected for a game-tying two-run homer off Mark Lowe in the eighth, later winning it on a solo shot off Shawn Kelley in the tenth. Lind is really having one of the more overlooked breakout seasons in the majors, batting .301/.366/.507 with 32 home runs and 109 RBI. He'll no doubt be among the top-20 outfielders selected in mixed leagues next season.

Adam Lind (shin) returned to the Blue Jays' starting lineup Sunday.
Lind missed Saturday's game with a bruised right shin and struggled through an 0-for-4 performance on Sunday as the designated hitter. He may need a bit more time off. The Jays have no reason to push him.
