Garrett Mock yielded one run over six innings but didn't figure into the decision in an eventual 2-1 Nationals victory on Thursday night.
Mock issued four walks against only two strikeouts, which could have been trouble when combined with the five hits he allowed, but he induced three double plays and the Braves went 0-for-4 in scoring opportunities against him, allowing him to escape unscathed outside of a solo homer by Nate McLouth. Mock finishes his unimpressive campaign at 3-10 with a 5.62 ERA. |
