Jay Bruce homered twice and drove in a career-high five runs in a win over the Cardinals on Tuesday night.
Bruce connected for a three-run homer in the second and a two-run blast in the sixth. He now has 22 home runs in just 331 at-bats this season. He is batting .364 with four home runs and 16 RBI in 32 at-bats since returning from the disabled list.

Jay Bruce went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI as the Reds defeated the Astros 10-4 on Saturday evening in Houston.
Bruce hit an RBI double in the fifth inning and added a two-run shot in the ninth as the Reds exploded offensively off the Astros pitching staff. Bruce is only hitting .221, but he does have 20 home runs in just 94 games.

Jay Bruce had a two-run single in a win over the Marlins on Thursday night.
His two-run single capped a three-run first inning for the Reds. It ended up being the difference in the game. Bruce is 3-for-11 with four RBI since returning from a fractured right wrist.

Reds activated outfielder Jay Bruce from the 15-day disabled list.
Bruce has been out since mid-July with a fractured right wrist. It's been a trying year for the 22-year-old, who was hitting only .207/.283/.441 in 333 plate appearances prior to hitting the shelf. He went 7-for-33 (.212) in 10 rehab games for Triple-A Louisville. Bruce is unlikely to contribute enough to warrant a roster spot in mixed leagues for the remainder of the season, but NL-only leaguers should activate him prior to this evening's games.

Jay Bruce will remain in the minors to help Triple-A Louisville in their quest for the International League crown.
Bruce has been on the disabled list since July 11 with a fractured right wrist. He's healthy, but the Reds have nothing left to play for. The Louisville Bats commence playoff action on Wednesday.
