The Rockies plan to hang on to outfielder Ryan Spilborghs unless they receive a substantial offer, FOXSports.com reports.
Spilborghs is a popular trade target, garnering interest from the Braves and White Sox, among others, however the Rockies don't expect to find an offer to their liking. Spilborghs, 30, is arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter after hitting .241/.310/.395 with eight home runs and 48 RBI in 352 at-bats. Unless Brad Hawpe is traded this winter, Spilborghs is destined to be an extra outfielder yet again, so it makes some sense for the Rockies to at least explore a trade. Source: FOXSports.com
