Alcides Escobar is back in the starting lineup Thursday.
Escobar sat in favor of J.J. Hardy on Tuesday and Wednesday, who went two-for-eight with a RBI and strikeout. It looks as if Hardy and Escobar will be sharing time for the remainder of the year. After the season, Melvin either has to move Hardy to third (unlikely given Mat Gamel's presence) or trade him. Bet on the latter, as Escobar is proving his long-term worth to the team. If you have one of the two shortstops, you need to watch the daily lineups like a hawk. Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
