Wade Davis yielded five runs -- three earned -- in five-plus innings to take a loss against the Yankees on Sunday.
Davis was doing just fine through the first five scoreless innings, but he gave up a three-run homer to Alex Rodriguez and departed with two runners on base that would eventually score. Despite the rough inning, Davis' rookie campaign was encouraging as he posted a 3.72 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and a 36/13 K/BB in 36 1/3 innings. He'll be someone to target next season. |
