 Jonathan Sanchez-S - Giants Oct. 4 - 7:33 pm et

Jonathan Sanchez pitched 5 1/3 innings and yielded two runs Sunday in a no-decision versus the Padres.
Sanchez's final start for the Giants? He won't bring in a big bat by himself, but he's still a significant piece, particularly since he's three years away from free agency. He finishes the year 8-12 with a 4.24 ERA and 177 strikeouts in 163 1/3 innings. From the date of his no-hitter on, he came in at 6-4 with a 3.46 ERA in 16 starts.

Jonathan Sanchez yielded three runs over 5 2/3 innings in an 8-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.
He gave up just five hits, but two homers by Miguel Montero kept the Diamondbacks close. Back-to-back homers by Pablo Sandoval and Bengie Molina in the seventh provided Sanchez with some extra cushion. He struck out four and walked one in the win, improving to 8-12 with a 4.27 ERA.

Jonathan Sanchez allowed two runs over 5 1/3 innings in a 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday night.
Sanchez held the Diamondbacks scoreless until an RBI triple by Rusty Ryal in the sixth. The D'Backs tacked on another run after he was relieved by Bob Howry. All told, Sanchez gave up six hits while striking out nine and walking two. It was his first win since August 25. Sanchez is 7-12 with a 4.25 ERA this season. He gets the Diamondbacks again next week.

Jonathan Sanchez held the Phillies to one run over six innings on Tuesday night, but took a 1-0 tough-luck loss.
Think Sanchez missed Pablo Sandoval and Bengie Molina? He held the Phillies to just three hits against eight strikeouts and three walks, but his weak offense could provide nothing in the way of support. That makes three starts in his last four where Sanchez has allowed three runs or less while pitching at least six innings (a quality start), but he doesn't have any wins to show for it. Perhaps he'll have better luck against the Brewers next time out.
 Jonathan Sanchez-S - Giants Aug. 27 - 12:45 am et

Jonathan Sanchez held the Diamondbacks to three runs over seven innings on Wednesday night, but was handed a no-decision in an eventual 4-3 win.
Though his offense may deprive him of some wins, they bailed him out of a loss on Wednesday. Sanchez allowed seven hits -- including a leadoff home run to Ryan Roberts -- while fanning nine and walking two. He has a 2.61 ERA and 11.03 K/9 this month, but has just two wins to show for it. He's certainly worth consideration in most leagues at this point.
