David Murphy of the Philadelphia Daily News suggests Kyle Kendrick or Brett Myers could be left off the NLCS roster if Chan Ho Park (hamstring) returns.
Park threw a successful bullpen session on Monday and is already with the team in Los Angeles, so it appears he'll make the cut for the NLCS roster. That means someone has to be left off. Kendrick was not used during the Phillies' first-round matchup with the Rockies, and Myers has struggled mightily dating back to the end of the regular season. Final rosters for the best-of-seven series must be set on Wednesday.

Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports that Chan Ho Park (hamstring) will be traveling with the team to Los Angeles.
Park completed a successful bullpen session on Monday, so he looks like a pretty good bet to make the roster. One of the more valuable contributors in the bullpen this season, Park has been sidelined since September 16 due to a strained right hamstring. If added, he would likely replace Kyle Kendrick or Antonio Bastardo.

Pedro Martinez has been scratched from his scheduled Saturday start with lingering stiffness in his neck.
Pedro tossed a side session Friday and couldn't make it through the workout without feeling discomfort in his neck. It's mostly a precautionary scratch, and the Phillies are wise in wanting to save him for the playoffs. Kyle Kendrick will fill in Saturday against the Brewers.

Kyle Kendrick held the Mets to two runs in 7 1/3 innings to record a win on Sunday.
Kendrick had gone seven scoreless until Anderson Hernandez hit a two-run blast with one out in the eighth. The start was Kendrick's first of the season, and he'll return to the bullpen after starting the first game of today's doubleheader.

Kyle Kendrick is expected to draw a start during Sunday's day-night doubleheader against the Mets.
Phillies manager Charlie Manuel wouldn't confirm any names Wednesday, but it's pretty clear that Kendrick is going to take the hill for Game 1 and Pedro Martinez is going to follow. Kendrick, 25, finished 9-7 with a 3.34 ERA as a starter on the Triple-A level, but hasn't had success in the majors since his breakout 2007 season. We'd avoid the situation for fantasy purposes.

Phillies recalled RHP Kyle Kendrick from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Kendrick has allowed six hits and three earned runs over 5 1/3 innings out of the Phillies' bullpen this season. He'll operate in a mop-up role.
