Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos has informed outfielder Travis Snider that he's not guaranteed a spot on the Opening Day roster.
Snider opened the '09 season as the Jays' starting left fielder, but he was inconsistent for most of the year and may have to begin 2010 at Triple-A Las Vegas. The 21-year-old finished with a .241/.328/.419 batting line, nine homers and 14 doubles over 241 at-bats this past season.

Travis Snider was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Orioles on Wednesday night.
Snider went opposite-field in the sixth, giving the Jays a 6-3 lead. He later added an RBI single in the eighth for some extra cushion. Snider is batting .231 with six homers and 13 RBI since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas. He also has an alarming 47 strikeouts in 108 at-bats (43.5%). Mark Reynolds might have a challenger for his strikeout record in 2010.

Travis Snider homered twice and drove in three runs in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday night.
Adam Lind, Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista also went deep in the rowdy victory. Snider is batting .209 with five homers and eight RBI since returning from the minors. All or nothing, with three more strikeouts on Tuesday, he also has an alarming 38 strikeouts in in 86 at-bats.

Travis Snider belted a solo homer and reached base four times against the Angels on Sunday.
He singled twice and walked one in addition to the homer while also scoring twice. Sinder is 6-for-18 with two homers since being recalled from the minors. He was also hitting a sterling .337/.431/.663 before being recalled, so he needs to be owned in all formats right now.

Travis Snider was 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a walk in his return to the majors on Tuesday night.
Manager Cito Gason has indicated that Snider will play regularly down the stretch, so those in keeper leagues and deeper mixed leagues should jump at the opportunity to grab him. Just don't expect miracles from the 21-year-old -- he batted just .242 with 25 strikeouts in 99 at-bats with the Blue Jays earlier this season.

Blue Jays recalled OF Travis Snider from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Guess the Jays aren't worried about his Super Two status anymore. Snider, who struggled with a .242/.292/.394 line with three homers and 25 strikeouts in 99 at-bats with the Jays earlier this season, should get steady playing time down the stretch. Though he was sidelined with a shoulder injury for the early part of his time with Las Vegas this season, Snider rebounded to put up an awesome .337/.431/.663 with 14 homers and 40 RBI. He's a legit talent, so go ahead and pounce in keeper leagues and keep an eye on him in mixed leagues.
