Brewers claimed IF-OF Joe Inglett off waivers from the Rangers.
Inglett continues to bounce around the majors. He was designated for assignment by the Rangers on Monday after being claimed off waivers from the Blue Jays in December. The 31-year-old utility man batted .281/.347/.348 in 99 plate appearances last season, but spent most of the season with Triple-A Las Vegas. He should get a chance to compete for a spot on Milwaukee's Opening Day roster.

Joe Inglett will attempt to throw a baseball Wednesday for the first time since straining a rib muscle last weekend.
If anything goes wrong, the Blue Jays will can Inglett for the rest of the season. But if he makes it through the workout without too much discomfort, there's a chance he'll see a few at-bats before the year is through. The 31-year-old backup outfielder is hitting .281/.347/.348 in 34 games this season.

Joe Inglett suffered a right rib strain during batting practice Sunday.

Blue Jays recalled infielder Joe Inglett from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Inglett was just sent down two weeks ago to make room for Travis Snider. He batted .246/.307/.304 with four RBI in 69 at-bats with the Blue Jays this season. With his ability to play the infield and outfield, he adds some much-needed versatility to the roster, but doesn't offer any fantasy value.
